The Story:
As the familiar call, “Dinner’s ready!” rings out from the kitchen via cell phone and satellite, family and friends are beckoned to make haste. Heard by all, a cat’s meow and elephant’s thumping steps lead a charge from the zoo, much to the chagrin of a bewildered zookeeper. All respond to their blessings by reaching out to others: food banks, mission fields and even feeding the hungry animals gathered in the lobby! As we sing this dinner blessing, we are reminded of God’s grace to all of us!
